Event time

Hi everyone,

You may not all know but I've recently been diagnoised with MND (motor neurone disease) of which there is no known cure at the moment.

We are organising a fundraiser to raise funds for MND Victoria research and people living with MND.
We would appreciate any support we can get!

An MND Fundraiser dinner has been arranged for Saturday 22nd July in Taylors lakes.

Thanks for visiting my Fundraising Page for MND!
You can sponsor me and leave a message by selecting the donate button above.
Thanks for supporting our efforts in raising money for this cause!

Much appreciation,
Tina Davoli

About Motor Neurone Disease (MND)

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is an umbrella term used for a group of diseases that affect the functioning of motor neurones. It is also known in different parts of the world as:

  • Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), named after the most common type
  • Lou Gehrig’s Disease
  • Maladie de Charcot (Charcot’s disease)

The different types of MND are often categorised as:

  • Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) - 65% of all cases
  • Progressive Bulbar Palsy (PBP) - 25% of all cases
  • Flail Limb (including the variant Progressive Muscular Atrophy) - 9%  of all cases
  • Primary Lateral Sclerosis - 1%  of all cases

In Victoria approximately 400 people are living with the condition at any given time. View the links below to find out more on each topic:
